Hide, rank, and tag search results

On the search engine you already use, with lists anyone can publish.

Scroll, and watch Anubis tidy up this search

  1. Clutter out

Anubis strips AI answers, question lists, and the panels in between. You pick which.

  2. Done with a site?

Hide it from the scales beside any result. It’s gone from every search after that, and Show hidden brings it back.

  3. Your sites first

Pin or raise the sites you trust. Lower the ones you put up with. The scales tip to show where each one stands.

  4. Know before you click

Tags from lists mark reference sites, paywalls, and more. The summary says what changed, and Show hidden undoes it.

Rank any site from the results

Hide, lower, raise, or pin a site with the button beside any result. Your choice holds on every search.

How ranking works

Tags you can act on

Results carry labels like “Official docs” or “Paywalled”. Decide what each tag does, from just a label to hiding every result that has it.

About tags

Lists anyone can publish

A list is a text file in a Git repository. Brave Goggles and uBlacklist rulesets work unchanged.

Subscribing to lists

Remove panels

Remove AI answers, video panels, and “People also ask” on every search. You choose which.

What it removes

Nothing to sign up for

Anubis has no server and collects nothing. Your choices stay in your browser, unless you connect a storage server of your own to sync between browsers.

It works on Google, DuckDuckGo, Bing, Brave Search, Startpage, Ecosia, Kagi, Yahoo, Yandex, and Mojeek, in Firefox, Chrome, and Edge.
